Job Description:
The Accounting Department seeks adjuncts to teach in-person courses such as Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Intermediate Accounting. The candidate must be able to teach course sections during the day in Westchester County, New York.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Master's degree and one year of teaching experience is required. A degree in Accounting at either the undergraduate or graduate level is also required. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to engage students in active learning and integrate technology into the classroom.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A New York CPA with two years of experience teaching Accounting is strongly preferred. (Note: Candidates who are CPAs of another state are required to become New York CPAs in order to teach Accounting in New York.)
Additional Information:
SALARY & BENEFITS: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.
