Title: Assistant Professor of Management
Department: Department of Accountancy, Business and Economics
Description:
The Department of Accountancy, Business, and Economics invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Management, scheduled to begin in August 2024. The successful candidate will teach a variety of management courses and possibly general business courses, and will cover a 4/4 teaching load while maintaining expectations for advising and committee participation. Coursework may include management topics such as Organizational Behavior, Information Technology and Project Management, Productions and Operations Management, Management of Multi-national Firms, Capstone: Strategic Management, as well as general business content such as Business Law and Social, Political, and Ethical Issues in Business. These courses are generally offered in-seat to undergraduate students, however there is a possibility for online teaching within the MBA degree. It is expected that the successful candidate will maintain a commitment to excellence in teaching, diversity, scholarship, and service as defined by Adrian College.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Management, or related field
Desired Qualifications:
- Doctoral level education in Business or Management, or related field
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous higher education teaching experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience
