Job Summary

The Director of Human Resources supports the human factor in the company by ensuring the smooth operation of the organization’s human resources department by designing, planning, developing, and assessing human resources programs and initiatives that advance organizational and HR strategies. S/he collaborates with senior leadership to gain insight into the business objectives and strategies associated with employee relations, recruitment, retention, training programs, and company culture and serves as a leader in creating a positive company culture and encourages optimal employee performance in accordance with the overall business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or 3 to 5 years or progressive HR generalist and leadership experience.
  • Active member of SHRM.
  • Professional certification in human resources is desirable, such as SPHR, SHRM-CP. Fluent and proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding both English and Spanish preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Criminal and/or FBI background checks and other clearances as required by PA Department of Human Services regulations
