Santa Fe College's Fine Arts department is hiring multiple educational aides for a variety of positions. The Educational Aide will maintain a functional and efficient work environment and ensure compliance with SF and FERPA policies. Specific duties and responsibilities will be discussed during interviews based on department need.

 

Job Description

 Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet and assist students and staff.
  • Take messages, distribute mail, distribute office supplies, operate and maintain copier/printer.
  • Assist Fine Arts staff with a variety of projects.
  • Scan documents.
  • Use office equipment such as copy machines, laminators, and document shredders.
  • Provide service of excellence through courteous, informed, accessible and professional engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:  The Educational Aide must be a currently enrolled Santa Fe College student, in good academic standing, taking six (6) or more credit hours.
 Additional Requirements: A criminal background check will be conducted. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

  • Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ethics – able to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, civility, and a high degree of ethics in all job-related actions.
  • Able to effectively handle confidential and proprietary information.
  • Communication – able to effectively communicate in a professional, diplomatic, empathetic, and tactful manner using preferred method and level as applicable to the job.
  • Systems & Software - proficient level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or relevant position software programs.
