Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a nonprofit health care organization whose mission is to provide exceptional health care to people facing access barriers through clinical programs and education. We provide integrated health care services including medical, dental, and behavioral health through our 22 outpatient health centers. We deliver care with our strong “Hospitality” culture. Compensation (Pay): $80,932.80 to $117,352.56 /yearly, based on experience.

Job Summary: The position partners with leaders to serve as an expert consultant and trusted strategic business partner. The Sr. HRBP will work with leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement and other human resource-related issues. Communicating proactively, the Sr. HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The Sr. HRBP supports the alignment of the HR Department operations with business priorities for assigned departments and functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Acts as a single point of contact for employees and managers, proactively supporting the delivery of HR Processes.

Education/Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, management or related discipline is required.
Work Experience: Minimum of four years' experience as a HR Generalist and resolving complex employee relations issues is required (HR business partner capacity is preferred). Human resources experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Experience with ADP and/or HealthStream Learning Management System is preferred. Experience working in a detail-oriented environment is essential.
Computer Skills: Intermediate - ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; use and create a variety of templates, complex tables, merges; manage table data, sort and filter merges, and also perform basic work with existing Macros; customize toolbars, import and insert graphs, embed Excel data, and elaborate reports; work with multiple worksheets, filter data, use integrate functions, and manipulate databases; customize templates and the PowerPoint environment, and to make a presentation interactive by using hyperlinks and action buttons
Certificates and Licenses: HR certification is highly desirable.

- Provides feedback to leaders regarding employee engagement and other significant employee trends upon request.
- Responsible for completing 90 day stay interviews.
- Ability to understand business goals as well as design and implement new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
- Consults with and manages the people management related agenda and serves as employee champion and change agent, while seeking to develop integrated solutions.
- Bias for action, stellar work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence.
- Establish and maintain an intimate understanding of the departments and the business as a whole in order to build productive working relationships.
- Coaches leaders on HR policies and processes, ensuring training and support for the development of employee performance standards is provided; oversees and supports the effective use of established performance management processes.
- Provides day to day performance management guidance and support to management regarding fair employment and employee relations issues (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
- Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Prepares, gathers and submits information for Unemployment claims. Works with managers and Equifax representative to represent Peak Vista at Unemployment Hearings. Prepares and submits information for Industrial Claims Review as necessary.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assists in the preparation of request for Information and Position Statement to respond to EEOC claims.
- Ensures ongoing compliance of HR policies, programs and AAAHC and HRSA compliance standards.
- Works closely with management and employees to leverage work relationships and teamwork, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Participates as a collaborative member of the HR Team, assisting with facility wide projects, functions, or programs as assigned.
- Reviews Performance Conversations and provides HR guidance.
- Trains HR related topics in New Employee Orientation and Core Leadership sessions.
- Coaches, mentors, and trains other HR Business partners, as applicable.
- Contributes to the overall achievement of HR goals, objectives and strategies.
- Ability to frequently travel inside and outside of the Colorado Springs area.
- Promotes and demonstrates the mission, vision, and Core Values of Peak Vista.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, the management team, medical staff, and leadership.
