The Office of the President is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to a fast-paced and busy executive office. In this role, the Senior Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for those contacting and visiting the office suite, which houses both the President’s Office and the Executive Vice President’s team. This includes fielding phone calls, greeting all who enter the suite, and monitoring the Office of the President’s email account by tracking, responding to and routing correspondence to the appropriate parties. The role will also require the candidate to provide support for other members of the President’s Office staff as needed (e.g. scheduling, assembling meeting materials, preparing correspondence, and event support).
The Senior Administrative Assistant should be knowledgeable about University policies and procedures relevant to the duties performed on behalf of the Office, including: submitting work orders; ordering supplies; managing the use of the Office’s golf cart and bike; processing and submitting payments, invoices, and deposits; and managing the requests, reservations, and space of the Office’s venues. In addition, the Senior Administrative Assistant will manage the hiring, scheduling, and assignments of the Office’s student workers.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: 3 to 5 or more years
Experience: 3 to 5 or more years
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent working knowledge of computers and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of campus policies and procedures preferred.
