Job Description
Business Unit:Cubic DefenseCompany Details:While pursuing a degree in electrical or computer engineering, you will play a crucial role in supporting the analysis, design, modification, and testing of embedded systems products. Your responsibilities will encompass interpreting PCB schematics and Microcontroller datasheets to implement new features, utilizing test equipment and diagnostic tools, and creating design redlines or work instructions. This position involves working under close supervision and direction.Job Details:Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Support the analysis, design, modification, and testing of embedded systems products
*Provide assistance in technical support
*Contribute to system tests
*Gather, correlate, and analyze technical information
*Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation
Minimum Job Requirements:
*Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Science degree program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline
*Possess effective written and oral communication skills
*Proficient in using typical office automation products, such as word processing and spreadsheets
*Capable of working in a lab environment and using a computer
Preferred:
*Enthusiasm for hands-on work in a lab environment
*Familiarity with electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope)
*Basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts (current, voltage, resistance, basic circuit components)
*Familiarity with embedded programming concepts (e.g., I2C, SPI, GPIO, ADCs, debuggers)
*Some experience with Electrical CAD tools (e.g., Altium, Pspice, SolidWorks)
Pay Range $26hr - $31hr
