Job Summary/Basic Function:
Everett Community College is building a pool of qualified candidates to teach Psychology courses. Applicants will be contacted as openings occur.

Primary teaching responsibilities include a wide variety of psychology courses. We are looking for applicants who can teach in a variety of modalities, including online and hybrid courses. We also have need for faculty available to teach evening hybrid courses.

This position reports to the Dean of Communications and Social Sciences. Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and teach college-level Psychology classes.
  • Facilitate student learning by using a variety of classroom activities including collaborative formats, discussion, lecture, demonstration, online, and technology-based techniques.
  • Identify and implement procedures/techniques to assess individual student learning, as well as achievement of course, program, and college learning outcomes.
  • Prepare course materials including classroom activities, lecture notes, and exams.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Psychology or closely-related field
  • College-level teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching online courses
Community college teaching experience
