Position Description
The Department of Finance and Business Economics at the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington in Seattle, WA, invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor position to start in Fall quarter 2025.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in finance, economics or a related field. The chosen applicant for this position will evidence success in the classroom teaching at both the undergraduate and master’s degree levels across a wide range of courses including business economics, corporate finance, and/or investments.
Instructions
We request from all applicants a cover letter indicating teaching interests, a curriculum vitae, at least three letters of recommendation, at least 5 complete sets of student evaluations, and a statement detailing how your teaching, service and/or scholarship has supported the success of students from racial, ethnic, and gender backgrounds that are underrepresented in your academic field. Applicants who have not yet had the opportunity for such experience should note how their work will further the Foster School’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
